Here are the most common questions before booking at our 4-star hotel in Playa de las Américas: check-in and check-out times, rooms, pools and meal plans. If you still have one, we’ve answered many more.
What time are check-in and check-out?
The official check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out is 12:00pm noon. We don't offer early check-in, but we have a luggage store where you can leave your suitcases; if the room is ready before 3:00pm, we'll let you know. Late check-out is subject to availability and has an additional charge: you can check at reception the night before your departure.
Is the wifi free?
Yes, free wifi throughout the hotel, in rooms and common areas.
Where is the hotel and how do I get there from the airport?
We're in Playa de las Américas. Tenerife South airport (TFS) is about 18.6 km away (roughly a 20-minute drive). You can get here by taxi, bus or hire car. The bus line is the 040 and the stop is the one at the Zentral Center.

Does the hotel have parking?
No. There is a paid car park at the Zentral Center.
Is it a hotel suitable for families with children?
Yes, it's a family hotel: children's pool, cots and highchairs in the restaurant.
What meal plans can I book?
You can add breakfast and brunch, from 7:30am to 12:00pm noon, or half board, which also includes buffet dinner from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. For lunch, from 12:30pm to 5:00pm, the La Palapa bar is available, at an additional cost depending on what you order from the menu.
What are the hotel's pools like?
We have 2 main pools (one heated and one not), an outdoor spa pool, a children's pool, the Balance Terrace and an UP! area with an infinity pool, glass pool and jacuzzi. The spa also has a heated indoor pool, at an additional cost and with prior booking. The Balance and UP! pools are adults-only areas (18+), with an extra cost depending on whether you book them in advance or pay for the services in-house.
Do you have a spa and gym?
We have a Spa, circuit and treatments, with prior booking directly at the spa to confirm availability and prices. Open from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday. The gym is free to use and opens from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
What dining options are there?
At the Hotel Vulcano we have a buffet restaurant and several bars. You can see all our dining offer, menus and opening times on our gastronomy page. Las Salinas restaurant: breakfast from 7:30am to 12:00pm noon and dinner from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. La Palapa bar: from 10:00am to 5:00pm. La Cascada bar: from 5:30pm to 12:00pm midnight, for a drink with live music. Maracaná bar (sports bar), with TV programmes, from 12:00pm noon to 12:00pm midnight.
Do the rooms have a balcony or terrace?
The vast majority of rooms have a balcony and, depending on the floor or the category booked, a terrace with sun loungers.
