Posted on GoogleJo Streeter6 days agoThe pools are really lovely. Loads of loungers and great bar by the swimming pool area. Our room was recently refurbished, AC was good. We were half board the breakfast is very good, loads of selection and it goes on until 12pm. The only negatives I’d say about our stay is that you have to pay extra for your tea/coffee in the room to be restocked daily and you have to pay a daily fee to use the safe in your room. And the WIFI is terrible.+9Posted on GoogleColin _27 days agoGreat location, easy access to the Golden Mile and surrounding area. The lobby, reception area, is huge, three stories tall and very long, it’s very impressive as soon as you walk in. The room was a very good size, nice balcony looking over a pedestrian walk way to some bars and restaurants and the Golden Mile. The shower was very powerful and adjustable. The maid did an excellent job everyday. The restaurant for breakfast is the highlight, it is one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The pool area was great, everyday we watched as it was cleaned. Don’t get up in the middle of the night for a sun-bed, there is absolutely no need. We never had any trouble getting a sun-bed, There is no problem with cockroaches or other insects. We never see one in eight days. The hotel is very clean. Check out is twelve. If you have a late flight there are courtesy showers available. You have to book them and can only have them for thirty minutes. When we arrived my room was decorated with balloons and it was lovely and we got a room beside our friends. Breakfast was fantastic and the balance terrace is definitely worth it if you like to chill around. Staff were kind and helpful. Can’t wait to book for next year!Posted on GoogleAndrew Daly97 days agoMy partner and I stayed at Hotel Vulcano for 10 days in a Premium Pool View room. Overall, we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved. The positives first: the hotel is beautiful, especially the lobby and pool area at night, and the location is perfect – close to everything in Playa de las Américas. We appreciated that our request for a high-floor room was honoured, the air conditioning was excellent, housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and the staff were always friendly. The breakfast was genuinely the highlight of our stay. The variety was incredible, it was served until 12pm, and we honestly wouldn’t change a thing about it. The taxi service from reception was also excellent, and we never struggled to get a sunbed. Unfortunately, there were some disappointing aspects. The main pool has a lot of loose and missing tiles, and my partner cut their toenail on a sharp exposed edge, so this really needs attention. Many of the sunbeds were ripped, and the lifts were slow and unreliable. The atmosphere around the pool was also very quiet. Apart from occasional bingo and a DJ who disappeared shortly after breakfast, there was no music or entertainment during the day. While many guests want to relax, the hotel relied almost entirely on the guests themselves to create an atmosphere. Although the breakfast was excellent, the bar food wasn’t. The pizzas were very chewy and rubbery. We also found the cocktails disappointing, with far too much ice and very little alcohol considering the price and the hotel’s four-star rating. One evening we bought instant noodles from a nearby shop and simply asked for two forks. The bar sent us to reception, but reception refused because “the kitchen was closed,” even after we offered to wash them ourselves. It seemed like a very unnecessary refusal. The bathroom only provided shampoo and conditioner, with no shower gel. Our biggest disappointment was the Premium Pool View package. We only discovered on our last day that the infinity pool area included complimentary beer, water and juices. Nobody mentioned this at check-in or during our stay, so we spent money buying drinks we didn’t need to. Better communication would have made a big difference. Finally, we were asked to leave a Google review at checkout, and a member of staff selected five stars on our phone before handing it back for us to submit. We didn’t post it because we wanted to leave our own honest review. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our holiday. The hotel is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the breakfast is one of the best we’ve had. But the breakfast! The breakfast is absolutely amazing! There’s a huge selection, so many options, and they even have cava. Great and clean hotel and room, staff were also brilliant. We upgraded to the UP terrace for two of the hottest days of our stay and it was beautiful - great loungers / views / pools / drinks and snacks. Excellent location only 7 ish mins walk to the golden mile with loads of restaurant/bars etc if you want a bit of atmosphere. Also, only 30ish mins from the airport. Loved every course of the “Eat & Fit” menu! The pumpkin cream soup with crispy shrimp was rich and comforting, the mini salad with goats cheese, guava and candied walnuts was fresh and vibrant, (my favourite) and the spiced cod with colourful salsa and saffron sauce was cooked to perfection. Followed by palate cleansing mango sorbet, then Beef ravioli and canary mash was succulent and creamy. Finally sweet and fruity the pistachio ingot with crumble base was beautiful. All absolutely delicious. Everything arrived on stunning plates, portions were generous, and it’s brilliant they use MSC-certified sustainable seafood. Warm service and elegant setting made it special. Highly recommended — can’t wait until we go back! We had THEE most perfect room given to us. Room 362 for referance. May I add we didn't pay for pool view room despite being given one WIN WIN! We booked bed and breakfast so only tried the food in the mornings which was lovely. Highly recommend the waffles with chocolate from the chocolate fountain poured over it, also mini sausages they were my go to EVERYDAY lol. Restaurant also had a DJ there which I thought was pretty cool. Location is perfect as it has supermarket, beach, bus stop, pharmacy, pubs/clubs including Veronica's strip, restaurants etc all within walking distance. We also walked to both Los Christianos beach which took us 40min walk and Costa Adeje 30min walk along the beachfront. We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms are stylish, modern, and have a youthful design — everything feels fresh and cozy. It’s very приятно to come back to such a comfortable room after a day out. The food is excellent — delicious, varied, and high quality. Every day there is something new to choose from, and everything is prepared with care. The hotel is located in a very convenient area, not far from the ocean. There are many things around: local markets, shops, restaurants, and cafés. Everything is within walking distance, which makes the stay especially comfortable. The atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant and relaxing, while at the same time you can feel the lively resort vibe around. It’s a great option for couples as well as for groups of friends. If we come back to Tenerife, we would gladly stay here again. The hotel is kept extremely clean, has great facilities, and is in a terrific location — close to everything but still calm and comfortable inside. The staff really stand out: friendly, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile.
