I really cannot comprehend how people can rate this hotel lower than 5/5. I guess it depends on who comes here and their level of expectations. For example, a kebab place might have 5/5 star rating because it's cheap, and then some michelin star restaurant will have 4.7 just because someone didn't like the 500$ bottle of wine served with the main course. Before coming here we did a veeery thorough check of all the hotels on all of the Canary Islands to meet our criteria. For the first time we wanted the full "white lotus" kind of experience, with private pool, a'la carte menu instead of buffet where stuff from lunch is being re-served as dinner. In short, we wanted quality. We did book a room with private pool at the rooftop, ocean view included (I think all of the rooms have ocean view here), beach is located ten meters from the hotel's garden. There's also a regular pool at the garden with lots of sunbeds around. And no - you cannot put your towel at 6am to "book" the sunbed here. This was quite a shocker as in our previous hotels it was always a huge problem and you had to hunt down a place to sit on during the day. Staff is absolutely magnificent, everyone is very polite and professional. If you ask one person for a drink and they disappear for a minute to bring it - other staff members will approach just to make sure if you don't need anything. After two days everyone rememvers your room number and your favourite food. I'm really bad with remembering names, apologies for that, however there were some little things which made our stay much better. Fran gave us great advice as to what to do around on the island and when Liz (spelling, sorry!) noticed, that I'm quite a fan of fresh pineapple juice, which is usually being served only during breakfast, she made sure that there's a jug of it waiting for me during the whole day. I didn't ask for it, that's the initiative that kinda shows that these people really take great care of their visitors. And not to forget Florence, who is the most friendly receptionist you will ever meet. 😀 Room is very spacious, got both shower and a bathtub with those massage thingies shooting water at ya. I am allergic to dust and mold, and this is the first hotel in which I have stayed and in which I didn't get sick after turning the A/C on. Cleaning staff is also very professional and thorough, I don't feel afraid to walk barefoot in our room and that's also a first for me. Pool is being cleaned every other day so it stays nice and clean as well. Food is very good, kinda tastes authentic but I'm not experienced enough to say. Some dishes taste a bit too acidic for my taste but I asked about it and cuisine here is supposed to be acidic as it helps with dealing with the heat. Fish and seafood are always delicious, desserts are also great. Same goes for tons of various fruits, vegetables and drinks. Their signature drink called Sunshine actually tastes like sunshine. Enjoyed staying at the hotel. Breakfast was very nice, the pool area is very relaxing, the room was a good size. However, I was slightly unhappy that technical issue took so long to get fixed in the room. All of the staff are fabulous in particular. Jessica our waitress was very attentive and welcoming. Raul, the pool attendant was also very polite, helpful and pleasant. And Lewis that worked on the bar during the evening was also very nice. An absolutely exceptional stay at Sir Anthony Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The room was luxurious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the stunning surroundings each morning was a real treat. The breakfast was outstanding, with an amazing selection of high-quality food and impeccable service. Every detail throughout the hotel reflects true five-star luxury. A special mention has to go to Lewis, who makes the best cocktails in Tenerife! His drinks were exceptional, and his warm, friendly service made every visit to the bar a highlight of our stay. The hotel itself is an incredible, tranquil haven in the heart of Playa de las Américas—a peaceful oasis that’s perfectly located while still feeling exclusive and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Sir Anthony Hotel has the perfect location. It is right by the ocean and just steps away from the center, yet still peaceful, quiet, and very private. The entire staff was amazing, always friendly, professional, and attentive. A very special thank you to Rosa, who was absolutely wonderful. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care made our stay truly memorable. She always made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We would also like to give special recognition to our favorite waitress, Liz. She was always smiling, incredibly kind, and had a wonderful way of brightening our day. Her positive energy made every breakfast and dinner even more enjoyable, and she truly made a difference to our overall experience. The food was excellent, and we highly recommend the Canary Night. We visit Tenerife regularly and stay in another 5 star hotel in the area so this was our first visit to the Sir Anthony Hotel but it will not be our last! The hotel is beautiful - the location, rooms, food, service, cleanliness and facilities are faultless. We have had a wonderful time and we are very grateful to the team at Sir Anthony for making our joint birthday stay so special. Thank you to the whole team including Valentina, Naomi and Florina on reception. Thank you also to Lis, Massimo, Amara and all the fantastic team in the restaurant. This is my third time staying at Sir Anthony Hotel, and every single visit has been absolutely wonderful. I first came here through the recommendation of a friend who has been visiting for more than 25 years, and now I completely understand why. Every time I arrive, I immediately feel relaxed and happy. The hotel has such a peaceful and positive atmosphere! Truly the perfect escape from my busy schedule back home. Spending my days by the beach or by the pool here is pure heaven, and the rooms are always beautiful, comfortable, and immaculate. What makes this place truly special is the INCREDIBLE staff. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and attentive, and they genuinely make you feel at home. A special thank you to Lis, Jessica, Ana, Monica, Paula, Florinda, Victoria, the lovely manager Rosa, and of course the many other amazing members of staff who all work so hard to make every stay feel special and unforgettable. I’ve stayed in this hotel over 30 times in 10 years. This trip was with my friend. Being two females of a certain age you can feel vulnerable. This hotel is so comfortable and has such personal service you never feel like that. We were welcomed like returning family and our every need was taken care of. We had a ground floor room with direct pool access. Our own terrace with sun loungers meant we could be private but use the pool from our terrace. The staff were amazing we felt comfortable asking them anything and they were always there for any queries we had. We had a wonderful stay at the Sir Anthony Hotel. The food, rooms and service all exceeded our expectations. We were very well looked after by the excellent restaurant staff (Lis, Marisa, Jesica, Fara, Antonio & Denis). They went above and beyond to attend to our every need and were very friendly. We were B&B basis and the breakfast provided a great buffet selection and also a good selection of made to order. The pool area is beautifully kept, clean and plenty of comfortable sun loungers. The pool attendant Raul was always on hand to provide towels and made sure we had shade if we wanted it or sun if we preferred. It was a Birthday Weekend with my Mother: I booked the -Superior Room with private pool and ocean view - Birthday-Room - Massage Citrus Body Perfection, two Person at the same time The Room: Its a very beautiful Room. You have a Shower and a Bathtub. In the Shower you have Body-Shampoo, Hair-Shampoo and a Conditioner. Also for the bathtub is an extra Shampoo. The bed is large enough and but We ordered a second Bed-Blanket, cause it was only one big blanket. After that, we had two super size blankets. The view in the top of your own Roof with the Privat-Pool is amazing! When its windy outsite, you are still protected. The only thing what annoyed me was the lamp, beside the bed. I always cutch a notch with my head, when I pick up something from the little table. I booked the Birthday room and I wasn't sure what it means: You get the cake, with the Drinks and some Ballons into your room. Very sweet and the cake was delicious! The Massage: For my Mother it was very good. She told me, she had a intensiv massage and enjoyed it very much. I forget to say I also like it, when its intensiv/hard. Maybe it would better to ask the Person how they want it. One thing bothered me very much. The Time you can have a Massage. at 6:00pm its over. So if you had a long walk, or in our case a riding-tour, its not possible to have a massage after a strenuous day. We unfortunately had no time for lunch, but for breakfast and dinner. The Breakfast was fantastic! Little bits of every thing. And every thing taste delicious. The Second/last day we sat outside, it was a pity that we were somewhat overlooked. The first day we had always Orange-juice and it was asked whether we would like to order something more. The Dinner was fantastic! We ordered both times the fish of the day. For two Person a Wolf-Fish. It was so delicious. Personal: We unfortunately could not remember all the names. The Women of the reception was very helpful and it was a luck that one of them spoke a little bit German. A couple names of the Service at the Mealtime was Marissa, Lis and Thiago. Rooms are 10/10 we had a pool in room suite absolutely beautiful. Beach front hotel The service is definitely 5 star . Couldn't be more welcoming and the loved my little boy treated him amazingly even got his own little kid set and towels just for him 🥰 the food was amazing we only had breakfast but still lovely and  was allowed in the hotel next door where the kid entertainment goes on at night and had a kids splash pool next door also . What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the outstanding service. Every single member of staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had the best possible stay. A special mention must go to Raoul, the lifeguard, who greeted guests each morning with a friendly smile and checked that everyone was comfortable. His presence added a personal and welcoming touch that we won’t forget. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, with fresh towels provided twice daily and the delightful surprise of a Lindt chocolate waiting for us each evening. It’s the kind of attention to detail that truly elevates a stay. We were also impressed by the quiet, peaceful atmosphere throughout the hotel. It felt like a hidden gem—luxurious but never pretentious, and incredibly relaxing. The food and cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented, with very reasonable prices for a boutique hotel. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, offering a generous spread of both freshly cooked dishes and continental options. To be honest, we couldn’t fault a single thing. Sir Anthony Hotel is, without a doubt, the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We left feeling refreshed, well looked after, and already planning our return. 12 days perfect summer-vacation, spent in a super-great location : SIR ANTHONY Hotel. ☺The hotel is a resort apart, having a focus on ambiance, relaxation, high-class services. The cleanliness is impeccable, as is the professionalism of the staff (who are always present, discreetly, with the mission of making you feel "valued guest", and to please you; they do that in natural way, proving high class professionalism ...) We were accommodated in room 312:, located on the top floor, having balcony with ocean view and also a supplementary large terrace / approx. 40 sqm and its own pool. approx. 6 sqm), with view to Atlantic and also to Mediterranean Palace's pool. The room is exactly as described on the hotel website (or on booking.com, where we made the reservation); It is a two-levels apartment, with the 1st floor having the sleeping area + small living room + large and very well-organized bathroom, and the terrace with the pool, on the upper level (access via the internal spiral-stairs from the balcony), equipped with 2 sunbeds, a table, and a double canopy) The hotel offers a gorgeous, well-kept tropical garden; also, multiple facilities (access to all the benefits of the other hotels in the group, Mediterranean Palace and Cleopatra, but also discounts at PALAPA, the gastro-bar at the exit on beach) A special note to all the hotel staff, truly professional people, who provided all the help and information needed. Smiling and helpful. I would like to nominate someone ... but I have them ALL in mind ... :-) ☹A larger selection of fresh-vegetables on breakfast, would be appreciated. For the first time, I chose a place to stay completely by accident... and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! Quiet area, beautiful and clean beaches are nearby! From day one, the staff were incredibly professional and kind. We had everything we needed — a warm welcome, and slow, careful days filled with comfort and ease. 💗 The Canarian Night (a special event) was an exceptional experience! The food was fantastic — traditional, with a modern twist. Interesting textures, and beautifully presented dishes created a cozy and memorable atmosphere. Our compliments definitely go to the chef! The whole concept gave us a feeling of happiness and peace. Emir was especially helpful — such a pleasant person to be around! + Very good Wi-Fi + Beach bags provided by the hotel + The first hotel with Google Crome Air that connects the phone to the TV + Nespresso machine with capsules daily + Large TV screen + Bathroom with glass wall + A quiet place + Room cleaning service is twice a day. + The staff is very polite and friendly. + Late check-out at no extra cost. + Lifeguard Ramon is dedicated to customer, very respectful and helpful, he strictly follows the rules imposed on the pool, towards his colleagues who are on the phone. + The temperature in the pool is the most perfect I could find in all the hotels I've been to. + the breakfast is buffet and a la carte with premium products . + the hotel's location is ideal for walking and shopping - The minus is the very short menu for lunch and dinner. This forces you to eat outside the hotel. You have a beautiful terrace ! - The mini bar is empty…you can let some drinks ( non alcoholic) extra charge, to not bringing from outside . - I don't understand the rules about smoking on balconies. On the ground floor and on the top floor it is allowed but in the middle it is forbidden. - The Canarian Soul Nights it’s a good vibe but the menu is not a really ,,tasting menu “ some dishes is not great, and the beef was well done even I mentioned to be medium rare…it was hard to chewing . PS. The beach in front of the hotel is public one , but there are the street vendors who are noisy and you don't really want to stay at the beach anymore. Well Deserving of five star status. 1 quiet warm pool with a helpful life  guard. 2 right next to a stunning beach. 3 Amir at breakfast was brilliant and others too. 4 Reception staff outstanding. 5 Gym is at the hotel next door. 6 Next to restaurants. Sir Anthony is a truly 5* experience. Staff have a great culture and nothing is a bother for them. Pool area is very relaxed and there is plenty of room, beds always available. Roy is the pool guy, worth his weight in gold!
