Hotel review ☺Prime location right on the beach front. Brilliant dining area with a resident piano player at breakfast. Exceptionally clean rooms. Wonderful outdoor & indoor pools. Very friendly staff. ☹My inclusive transfer from the airport wouldn't take our golf bags despite being a big enough vehicle, so I had to spend €35 on a taxi.

☺A very lovely, clean, and quiet hotel, located just steps away from the wonderful Camisón beach and delicious restaurants.Despite the large number of rooms,it feels as though you are the only guests there: you rarely run into anyone in the elevator, and there are no lines at breakfast. The staff is polite and promptly handles all requests. The breakfasts are delicious and hearty—especially the churros and Spanish cava. The premises are secure and guarded.Housekeeping services are provided every day. There is nice live music with delicious cocktails near the reception in the evening, though I would recommend adding more seating.![]()

The air conditioner was a bonus. Good location near resturants with a discount if you are staying at the hotel. Breakfast was good and included in the booking. Room size is small.

Fabulous luxury stay ☺The location which is right on the beach. fabulous views. The pool bar is superb as is the breakfast options. Friendly staff from the moment we checked in where we were offered champagne or refreshments. Plenty of sun loungers and fabulous pool/jacuzzi. Very clean luxury hotel. ☹If I had to pick anything, it would be maybe a more updated tv for the rooms. But couldn’t fault anything, it was a fabulous stay.![]()

I had a fantastic stay at the Cleopatra Hotel. The location is a real highlight — it’s right on the seafront, so beach access is literally just a few steps away. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good selection of food and drinks to choose from. One thing I really appreciated was that there are no sun‑bed wars. There’s no need for an early‑morning dash to reserve a spot — sun beds are easy to get throughout the day, which makes relaxing by the pool much more enjoyable. There isn’t much available for children, and ball games or inflatables aren’t allowed in the pool, so families might find the activities a bit limited. The rooms are small and a little dated, and there aren’t many plug sockets, so bringing an extension lead is definitely recommended. What truly makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They are amazing — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would definitely return. The atmosphere, service, and beachfront location make it a great place to stay.

Very good hotel, unbeatable location and excellent service. Unfortunately let down a little by tired rooms that don't appear to have had any meaningful renovation since the hotel opened 30 years ago. Still spacious and clean with solid AC for those hotter calima nights. Wifi quite slow at times. Breakfast was among the best I've ever had.

We have just returned from this hotel we stayed for 10 nights . I read the reviews before I went and expected an outdated hotel . This hotel is unique in its own right . I love how it presents . You can get a hotel anywhere with up to date features and they are all the same . This hotel is unique and I liked it . The breakfast was lovely and catered for all . There was something for everyone . The staff were always helpful and they would go out of there way to resolve any issues for you . The pool was lovely and relaxing however there was Zumba every other day for those who love to stay fit . The rooms are dated but it suits the hotel , they are clean and tidy and the cleaners are amazing . Every day the cleaner left our room immaculate and topped up on shampoos towels etc daily . Of an evening you could roam into the sister hotel the meditaranian, and enjoy everything they had to offer . I have been in many hotels and this is deserving of its 4 stars . I really enjoyed the whole essence of this hotel .![]()

Great location and amazing staff ☺Amazing location, outdoor facilities great and look really good. You can upgrade in VIP facilities outside and swimming pool inside. Amazing restaurant sister hotel next to it. Only thing need to do is upgrade facilities in the rooms. when you arrive then they welcome you with drink and they take the luggage upstairs for you, really make you welcome☺️ The staff do everything if something is wrong to fix it. Our beds was really bad and they bring soft matress on the bed. The door on balcony couldn’t lock and they fix it. I would recommend this hotel if you want to relax and feel welcome🤗 ☹Furniture needs to be repaired and new beds need to be upgraded. Door locks need to be fixed. You hear a lot inside from noice outside. And cleaning little bit better, better to give tips sometimes.![]()

We stayed in early July. Wonderful hotel and staff. Everyone so friendly and amenable. Had to move rooms on night 2 due to a leak in the shower but staff upgraded us within the hour. Hotel close to all u need just mind the rocks in the sea (they hurt). We will definitely be back some time in the future. One minor, the hotel needs more day time activities or music around the pool![]()

The hotel is really really great, altough the rooms are outdated. For the breakfast they have a lot of choices, natural juices, coffee, fruits, etc. Gabriela is a really great maid, she took care of our room for our entire stay. The staff is really friendly and they will help you in any situation. You have a place where can you buy tickets for excursions and for Siam and Loro Parque. The location of the hotel is really good, you have the beach right in front of the hotel. They have parking spots, but not so many. Also, the pool is big and they have a lot of sunbeds!![]()

Very enjoyable stay at the Cleopatra Palace. We will definitely be returning! ☺The Cleopatra Palace was clean and accommodating. On arrival we had welcome drinks and they ensured to keep our luggage in the luggage room until our check-in time was ready (2pm). When coming back to check-in officially, they explained that had to change our room due to their being a fault that needed to be fixed in the previous room. The room was clean and tidy and we had a lovely view overlooking the pool. Our A/C vent began to leak when we put it on but the hotel straight away got maintenance out to fix this. Breakfast had a great choice of everything including cooked breakfast, pastries, fruit, a cooking station to request omelettes, poached eggs etc; and the hotel is overall in a perfect location within Las Americas! ☹The rooms are slightly outdated in their design however this didn’t bother us at all. The room was extremely clean and was cleaned everyday too.

Always a pleasure to stay here, warm welcome and great location. ☺Close to the beach in an area we like. Breakfast is relaxed and seating near the pool is good. Staff very helpful and the waitress at breakfast remembered us from last year! Beds are comfortable too. A little cake at breakfast for my birthday was a nice touch. ☹Nothing important,we have stayed many times, though there was one incident where someone (not the maid, we asked her) came into the room when we were out and removed some items including 2 cups we had brought up from the buffet (to use with the kettle provided), and a spoon I had brought from home; after speaking to reception they were returned but we never found out who came in, so a bit unsettling. But I hope it was an isolated incident: it won’t stop us returning! Only other thing- we would use the jacuzzi by the pool more if the water was warmer- only lukewarm so couldn’t sit in it for long.

We had a great stay at this hotel, mainly thanks to its excellent location. It’s perfectly situated in Playa de las Américas, just a couple of steps from the beach, restaurants, and all the main attractions, definitely a big plus. We stayed in two different types of rooms. The standard room with a balcony was spacious, comfortable, and overall a good choice. It does show some signs of age, scratched furniture and damage bathtub and would definitely benefit from some renovation. However, the cleanliness was good, and you can easily overlook these details, as the room still remains nice overall. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, and the pool area is spacious, quiet, and relaxing, with a nice bar. However, I strongly do NOT recommend the rooms with a private pool on the terrace (top floor). We stayed there for three nights, and despite the room being very large and the terrace beautiful and clean, the experience was disappointing. The private pool is not heated, something that was never mentioned during or after booking. The water was freezing and completely unusable, making it pointless to even have it. Another issue was the terrace exposure. We were assigned a “sunset side” room, but in reality, the terrace stayed in the shade until around 3–3:30 pm, making it quite impractical to use for most of the day. Considering the price, almost double compared to a standard room, it really felt like a waste of money. It’s surprising and disappointing that a hotel of this level doesn’t offer heated private pools or clearly communicate these details. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but only for the standard rooms. Avoid spending extra on the private pool option, it’s simply not worth it.![]()
