We stayed at Spring Hotel Bitácora in August 2026, and honestly, it’s been the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Tenerife so far. It’s super clean, really well run, and the staff absolutely make the place special. The Room & Facilities Family Room: Really spacious, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping was awesome and always happy to clean the room whenever we needed. Pools: Having 4 pools plus an outdoor jacuzzi was a massive plus! Gym: Good setup right by the pool. The only small thing is it opens at 8 am—if you’re a morning person who likes an early workout before breakfast, opening a bit earlier would be great. Food We’re vegetarian, so warm food options were a little limited unless you love potatoes (fries, wedges, hashbrowns, etc.), but we always managed to find something tasty to eat. On the plus side, the fresh fruit, bakery, and salad sections were amazing with tons of choices. They also have dedicated vegan and gluten-free sections which was nice to see. The Staff Restaurant staff were top-tier across the board. A massive shoutout to Leo and Stephen—super helpful, friendly, and courteous throughout our stay! Overall, zero complaints. It just works so well for families and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Tenerife!+8Posted on GooglePéter Herceghalmi10 days agoThe hotel is fantastic and in a great location; both the black sand beach and the white sand beach are within a 10-minute walk. Rooms: Comfortable beds, daily cleaning, and the staff are incredibly friendly! Restaurant: Varied breakfast and dinner options—we used the poolside snack bar for lunch, which suited us perfectly. The food is delicious, offering a wide range of flavors; a real plus is the dedicated breakfast corner for lactose-free and gluten-free items (cold cuts, cheese, milk, etc.), giving it an "ultra all-inclusive" vibe reminiscent of Turkey. Pool: There were plenty of sun loungers, so reserving one wasn't necessary, and the pool water was pleasantly warm. Evening entertainment was excellent; a great bonus was the roaming waitstaff, allowing you to order drinks right from your table! I was left with three negative impressions: 1. At breakfast, there were three types of plant-based milk and one lactose-free option, yet during the day, none of the bars offered even lactose-free milk for coffee. While the restaurant did provide a glass even when closed, this really ought to be a standard offering at the bars! 2. Coffee... decent espresso was only available in the UP section; the other machines made such bad coffee that I think an Italian would have committed suicide over the taste :) 3. Cocktails... unfortunately, they couldn't even get the basics right; Mojitos and Cuba Libres aren't exactly difficult to make, but they didn't really pull it off—so I stuck to gin and tonic... Darlynth was amazing with the kids and made the effort to remember them every time we went kids club. The hotel and staff are amazing and do as much as they can. They work really hard with the amount they have Todo. The evening entertainment is amazing. The all inclusive package is well worth it for a family. The kids can pick from the main restaurant or the pool side bar for food or snacks. Glad I pick this hotel over the others in the area. Rooms are clean and spacious for a family. As a family of 4 we did book with Jet2 and can't fault the out stay. Full package all inclusive which was great we go an extra special tasting dinner with that and also the summer party on the Friday night with a DJ and pool access until late. It was brilliant - we came as a couple but there was so much here for families too. Would highly recommend! The activities team were fantastic, special shout out to Pelayo! Great selection so there was something for everyone to eat, especially the desserts. I miss getting a gorgeous omelette being made to order and a cappuccino from the barista. Rachel, Dogman and Brian best entertainers ever and the variety of the entertainment at night was very good. They have a decently equipped gym too with air-conditioning & fresh towels to use during your workout. Restaurant can be hit or miss at night, but breakfast and pool bar are good. Great location and overall very good hotel. Will and brian and santiago andAlexia and the man with glasses aka d9g man sorry didnt catch his name are fantastic with the kids entertaining them full of energy just what you want and very caring with any unhappy child. Fantastic hotel we are regulars at tenerife definately be back here again at this hotel, rachel and palayo and brian fantastic with the pool parties. But the breakfast! The breakfast is absolutely amazing! There’s a huge selection, so many options, and they even have cava. The breakfast was definitely the highlight of our stay. ☹Perhaps the value for money could be better.
