Virginia and the team made our stay perfect. This has been one of the best holidays we have had and the hotel was recommended by my parents who have been here before and we came back again because we needed a special holiday which we have certainly had being here. I really cannot comprehend how people can rate this hotel lower than 5/5. I guess it depends on who comes here and their level of expectations. For example, a kebab place might have 5/5 star rating because it's cheap, and then some michelin star restaurant will have 4.7 just because someone didn't like the 500$ bottle of wine served with the main course. Before coming here we did a veeery thorough check of all the hotels on all of the Canary Islands to meet our criteria. For the first time we wanted the full "white lotus" kind of experience, with private pool, a'la carte menu instead of buffet where stuff from lunch is being re-served as dinner. In short, we wanted quality. We did book a room with private pool at the rooftop, ocean view included (I think all of the rooms have ocean view here), beach is located ten meters from the hotel's garden. There's also a regular pool at the garden with lots of sunbeds around. And no - you cannot put your towel at 6am to "book" the sunbed here. This was quite a shocker as in our previous hotels it was always a huge problem and you had to hunt down a place to sit on during the day. Staff is absolutely magnificent, everyone is very polite and professional. If you ask one person for a drink and they disappear for a minute to bring it - other staff members will approach just to make sure if you don't need anything. After two days everyone rememvers your room number and your favourite food. I'm really bad with remembering names, apologies for that, however there were some little things which made our stay much better. Fran gave us great advice as to what to do around on the island and when Liz (spelling, sorry!) noticed, that I'm quite a fan of fresh pineapple juice, which is usually being served only during breakfast, she made sure that there's a jug of it waiting for me during the whole day. I didn't ask for it, that's the initiative that kinda shows that these people really take great care of their visitors. And not to forget Florence, who is the most friendly receptionist you will ever meet. 😀 Room is very spacious, got both shower and a bathtub with those massage thingies shooting water at ya. I am allergic to dust and mold, and this is the first hotel in which I have stayed and in which I didn't get sick after turning the A/C on. Cleaning staff is also very professional and thorough, I don't feel afraid to walk barefoot in our room and that's also a first for me. Pool is being cleaned every other day so it stays nice and clean as well. Food is very good, kinda tastes authentic but I'm not experienced enough to say. Some dishes taste a bit too acidic for my taste but I asked about it and cuisine here is supposed to be acidic as it helps with dealing with the heat. Fish and seafood are always delicious, desserts are also great. Same goes for tons of various fruits, vegetables and drinks. Their signature drink called Sunshine actually tastes like sunshine. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel after a disastrous trip in Mallorca. Last time we felt that the outside of the hotel was too crowded and noisy, but we enjoyed the entertainment (especially the aqua gym at 12:00) and the food a lot, so we wanted to go again. Since this time we stayed at the end of August, the outside crowd was less dense, and the noise level was manageable. Every night they put a music and dance show which we enjoyed from our balcony. If you are staying in the pool or ocean view rooms, you would hear the night entertainment in your room, but they stop precisely at 11:00 so it shouldn’t be a problem if you are not an early bird. The kids club is another level. They are so kind to the kids and you can see from the stuff that they are not just entertaining the kids for money but they are really enjoying what they are doing. Although our daughter didn’t spend so much time there cause she was 11 years old and almost a teenager, she enjoyed her time there, did some tshirt painting, baked some chocolate chip cookies, made some nice bracelets, and had a movie afternoon, etc. The pool was quite large, even with many guests at the pool, you could do some laps. The entertainment was adjusted for every couple of hours so no constant activity and music at the pool, which we enjoyed a lot. Aqua gym was our favorite, especially with Maria (on Mondays and Fridays). She is full of energy and really motivates you to enjoy your workout and time. They also have live band playing during aqua gym on Wednesdays, which is a must. About the smoking and vaping, although they had a dedicated spot next to the pool, we saw some guests were vaping anyway. But in general the guests were respectful about the rule. There were always enough sun beds during the day, so rushing for a sun bed was unnecessary. We enjoyed the early calm ocean in the morning, and when we came back from a lunch, we could still find sun beds at nice spots. Fabulous luxury stay ☺The location which is right on the beach. fabulous views. The pool bar is superb as is the breakfast options. Friendly staff from the moment we checked in where we were offered champagne or refreshments. Plenty of sun loungers and fabulous pool/jacuzzi. Very clean luxury hotel. ☹If I had to pick anything, it would be maybe a more updated tv for the rooms. I had a fantastic stay at the Cleopatra Hotel. The location is a real highlight — it’s right on the seafront, so beach access is literally just a few steps away. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good selection of food and drinks to choose from. One thing I really appreciated was that there are no sun‑bed wars. There’s no need for an early‑morning dash to reserve a spot — sun beds are easy to get throughout the day, which makes relaxing by the pool much more enjoyable. There isn’t much available for children, and ball games or inflatables aren’t allowed in the pool, so families might find the activities a bit limited. The rooms are small and a little dated, and there aren’t many plug sockets, so bringing an extension lead is definitely recommended. What truly makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They are amazing — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would definitely return. We came for my 21st birthday with another couple. When we arrived my room was decorated with balloons and it was lovely and we got a room beside our friends. We loved our time in this hotel. It was spotless clean, always smelt beautiful too. The food was lovely. Great selection so there was something for everyone to eat, especially the desserts. I miss getting a gorgeous omelette being made to order and a cappuccino from the barista. Rachel, Dogman and Brian best entertainers ever and the variety of the entertainment at night was very good. We stayed in August and had an absolute blast! What an amazing and relaxing stay at Arona Gran. We stayed in a junior suite which we was upgraded to for free! The room was absolutely stunning with a great view. The room was well equipped with a fridge, 65inch television in both lounge area and bedroom. Two balconies; one with chairs one with sun loungers. The house keepers were so lovely and friendly, always going out of their way to greet us in passing and provided us daily with clean towels and a tidy room. Breakfast was sensational lots of options for gluten free, vegetarian or dairy free. Breakfast bubbles and fresh orange juice provided! Dinner changed every night still with plenty of options to suit anyone, varying from an array of cheeses, sea food, steak cooked by the chef. Entertainment was great on the evenings we watched Al Calfone show and music afterwards. There was also an evening where a band played during dinner. The hotel offered multiple classes offered for the gym. I really enjoyed Aqua fit. We also paid 15 euros to visit the spa area which again for rhe price was lovely and quiet, with sauna steam room. There was also a charging area for mobility scooters inside the hotel lobby which we thought was a good touch. Staff in both buffet and outside restaurant near pool were also friendly. The location is in a quieter area than I have visited before however only a short walk away from taxi rank. There are also some lovely bars, shopping centre and a huge market which runs on Sunday's and Tuesday's. A super Dino opposite the hotel came in handy. 7 nights at Arona Grand Hotel, Los Cristianos. Check-in was quick with a nice welcome drink, and the hotel looks stylish overall. Rooms were a bit tired though — chipped flooring/furniture, loose lamp fittings, and some mould in the bathroom. Housekeeping did their best with what they had. Air-con was hit and miss — first night we thought it was broken so slept with the balcony door open. Maintenance said it was fine, but the whole hotel stayed fairly warm throughout our stay. We're a family of 3 (adults-only hotel, our son is 17) and the extra bed was placed right under a ceiling lamp — about 12 inches from his head, so sitting up fast = guaranteed bang on the head. Worth knowing if you're booking an extra bed. Food was decent, pool area lovely with plenty of sunbeds. Entertainment wasn't really our thing so we walked the promenade most evenings instead. We have just returned from this hotel we stayed for 10 nights . I read the reviews before I went and expected an outdated hotel . This hotel is unique in its own right . I love how it presents . You can get a hotel anywhere with up to date features and they are all the same . This hotel is unique and I liked it . The breakfast was lovely and catered for all . There was something for everyone . The staff were always helpful and they would go out of there way to resolve any issues for you . The pool was lovely and relaxing however there was Zumba every other day for those who love to stay fit . The rooms are dated but it suits the hotel , they are clean and tidy and the cleaners are amazing . Every day the cleaner left our room immaculate and topped up on shampoos towels etc daily . Of an evening you could roam into the sister hotel the meditaranian, and enjoy everything they had to offer . I have been in many hotels and this is deserving of its 4 stars . Just coming to the end of our 3 wk stay at ARONA GRAN and its been wonderful. Nothing much to complain about. Our best times have been with the Animation team especialy Virginia, always atentive and helpful aswell as been FUN. Miguel is a fun guy always trying hard to make us all laugh. Gloria the fitness instructor, always enquiring if we have injuries etc but a great motivator all round lovely lady. Great location and amazing staff ☺Amazing location, outdoor facilities great and look really good. You can upgrade in VIP facilities outside and swimming pool inside. Amazing restaurant sister hotel next to it. Only thing need to do is upgrade facilities in the rooms. when you arrive then they welcome you with drink and they take the luggage upstairs for you, really make you welcome☺️ The staff do everything if something is wrong to fix it. Our beds was really bad and they bring soft matress on the bed. The door on balcony couldn’t lock and they fix it. I would recommend this hotel if you want to relax and feel welcome🤗 ☹Furniture needs to be repaired and new beds need to be upgraded. Door locks need to be fixed. If you want total P&Q book the UP package ☺We booked the UP package which was definitely worth it. Disappointed that our room was surrounded by screaming children as thought some floors were adult only! The UP rooftop Is beautiful. Has incredible views, two hot tubs and a stunning infinity pool. It was very quiet up here considering it was August! The bar served amazing cocktails and the food the was bailable from 10-6pm was incredible. Couldn’t fault the UP experience other than the bar closing at 6pm. Would be a fab place to sit and have a drink and watch what would be an amazing place to see the sun set. Just returned from our second time staying at Arona gran we have had an amazing time our room was aside view which we love as you get a good view of the sea and mountains. The beds are really comfortable and the air conditioning is great always a lovely cool room. Always cleaned every day with fresh towels, the staff were so helpful and always so friendly.I have to  say Virginia the Entertainment lady was amazing always full of energy and so much fun putting lots of things for us. She is worth her weight in gold. It didn’t matter what time we went out we could always get a sun bed so none of this getting up early as you cant reserve one. We loved the fact you can walk right along the sea front for miles. We only had B&B this time breakfast was always great plenty to choose from everything was always hot. Not a 5 stars hotel! Noisy, impossible to rest, We spent 8 days in Mediterranean palace (nothing to see with a palace) with our 3 kids, July 2026. What a deception from many points, we were taken for cash cows and did not understand how it is possible that the resort has 5 stars. It all started when we arrived and needed to ask the luggage carrier to help us, whereas he was standing outside and saw that we were unloading our car.. At the front desk, we were handle by Marcela and she was not friendly. Talking quick and not smiling, even not proposing welcome drink as we red on the review .. Arriving in the room was Ok. We got connecting  rooms on the second floor, and everything was ready for our kids. Anyway we booked Mountain View, we just have view on ugly buildings and street..isolation with the street is nevertheless good! Beds are good, towels quality is ok and recyclable stuff are doing the job. First night, we discovered how poor is the isolation of rooms: doors are smashing until midnight and the day after, smashing again from 7 in the morning.. impossible to rest. Cleaning staff is not quite as well, talking loud in the corridor. You can also hear your neighbours talking in their rooms as walls and doors are made of carton.. Even flip flop noise of people passing in front of your room can be clearly heard, imagine with real shoes when people are coming late by night to there rooms. The drain from the room above you is passing in the room, so every flush on top of you will pass close by. After that we went to restaurant and situation did not improve. We selected half board and once again what a deception. Meat is low quality same for fishes that are definitely frozen stuffs. Even a single burger is not tasty, the meat is just crap , kids were really disappointed and disgusted. Fruits are coming from tin can (they do not hide it), and juice are not hand made. Maybe the orange juice! Half board does not included even a single bottle of spring water and as soon as you arrive in restaurant they will catch you to pay again and again. Sparkling 50cl of water will be charged 3.5 euro, sale for soft drinks and small beers. Wine glass is around 5 euro for really poor quality.. The resort does not respect Spanish law, because since 7/2022, all bars, restaurants and hotels have to provide drinkable water to their guests for free. Breakfast might be the only meal that is acceptable, continental style with sparkling wine for free and a spring water. A bunch of noisy entertainment around the pool are proposed along the day (aqua gym at 12, games by the afternoon).. once again in a five stars resort, you should not be disturb by entertainment if you do not want to. Impossible to rest by the pool,being disturbed by entertainment. There are ping pong table close to the pool, but they do not provide rackets, you have to buy it! Same for gym, you have to pay for it! 6 euro per day or 20 for the week, not acceptable for a five stars. All is made to take always more money from you! We visited the mini club infrastructures that look new and clean: climbing walk, water parc activity, multilingual staff , everything is there. Only the music room has no music instruments as shown on the hotel website. Last issue we like to let the community knows, is regarding « à la carte » restaurants. When you arrive for the check in, they will give you vouchers that allow you one meal in Italian or meat restaurant. Once again it’s a trap ! We selected meat restaurant for the birthday of our kid and when you arrive, only one piece of meat is included.. all the other one are subjected to 25 euro extra. We tried the free one, slices of beef in a dressing, really not tasty at all, far away from our expectations. The following review has been We contacted the manager answering to trip advisor review : Sir Crespo Alessandro, but never got any feedback from his side. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything else met our expectations. The only downside was the breakfast, which was quite simple and had very limited options, especially for vegan guests. Enjoyed staying at the hotel. Breakfast was very nice, the pool area is very relaxing, the room was a good size. However, I was slightly unhappy that technical issue took so long to get fixed in the room. All of the staff are fabulous in particular. Jessica our waitress was very attentive and welcoming. Raul, the pool attendant was also very polite, helpful and pleasant. And Lewis that worked on the bar during the evening was also very nice. Lovely hotel. Fantastic entertainment staff. Rooms clean, good choice of food. Pool area clean. Dont leave your sunloungers unattended between 9&10am, or towels will be taken! We used the Spa as they had an offer on, which  I recommend. The Up sun terrace is lovely. We paid €5 each for the evening to see the sunset. Fizz was included. We would definitely book a day up there, if we return. Entertainment in the evening could have been better. Little supermarket opposite the entrance of the hotel has everything. My partner and I stayed at Hotel Vulcano for 10 days in a Premium Pool View room. Overall, we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved. The positives first: the hotel is beautiful, especially the lobby and pool area at night, and the location is perfect – close to everything in Playa de las Américas. We appreciated that our request for a high-floor room was honoured, the air conditioning was excellent, housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and the staff were always friendly. The breakfast was genuinely the highlight of our stay. The variety was incredible, it was served until 12pm, and we honestly wouldn’t change a thing about it. The taxi service from reception was also excellent, and we never struggled to get a sunbed. Unfortunately, there were some disappointing aspects. The main pool has a lot of loose and missing tiles, and my partner cut their toenail on a sharp exposed edge, so this really needs attention. Many of the sunbeds were ripped, and the lifts were slow and unreliable. The atmosphere around the pool was also very quiet. Apart from occasional bingo and a DJ who disappeared shortly after breakfast, there was no music or entertainment during the day. While many guests want to relax, the hotel relied almost entirely on the guests themselves to create an atmosphere. Although the breakfast was excellent, the bar food wasn’t. The pizzas were very chewy and rubbery. We also found the cocktails disappointing, with far too much ice and very little alcohol considering the price and the hotel’s four-star rating. One evening we bought instant noodles from a nearby shop and simply asked for two forks. The bar sent us to reception, but reception refused because “the kitchen was closed,” even after we offered to wash them ourselves. It seemed like a very unnecessary refusal. The bathroom only provided shampoo and conditioner, with no shower gel. Our biggest disappointment was the Premium Pool View package. We only discovered on our last day that the infinity pool area included complimentary beer, water and juices. Nobody mentioned this at check-in or during our stay, so we spent money buying drinks we didn’t need to. Better communication would have made a big difference. Finally, we were asked to leave a Google review at checkout, and a member of staff selected five stars on our phone before handing it back for us to submit. We didn’t post it because we wanted to leave our own honest review. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our holiday. The hotel is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the breakfast is one of the best we’ve had. We stayed in early July. Wonderful hotel and staff. Everyone so friendly and amenable. Had to move rooms on night 2 due to a leak in the shower but staff upgraded us within the hour. Hotel close to all u need just mind the rocks in the sea (they hurt). We will definitely be back some time in the future. The hotel is really really great, altough the rooms are outdated. For the breakfast they have a lot of choices, natural juices, coffee, fruits, etc. Gabriela is a really great maid, she took care of our room for our entire stay. The staff is really friendly and they will help you in any situation. You have a place where can you buy tickets for excursions and for Siam and Loro Parque. The location of the hotel is really good, you have the beach right in front of the hotel. They have parking spots, but not so many. We are currently staying at Mediterranean Palace Tenerife and overall we've had a wonderful experience. The hotel is large, clean and in an excellent location, with everything within walking distance. The pool area is spacious and well maintained, and all of the staff have been friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is definitely the entertainment team. They are absolutely fantastic and put so much effort into organising activities for both adults and children. A special mention also goes to the Kids Club – they do an amazing job. Our son absolutely loved spending time there and looked forward to going every day. It really made our holiday even more enjoyable. The bartenders also deserve recognition – they are friendly, professional and make excellent cocktails. We chose the All Inclusive package, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The cocktails are excellent and definitely one of the highlights. In the evenings there is live music, creating a lovely atmosphere. During our stay we were also had the opportunity to watch Spain's World Cup match on a giant screen, which was a fantastic experience. The only area where we think there is room for improvement is the daytime atmosphere around the pool. Music is only played during organised activities, and for the rest of the day it is completely silent. We asked the entertainment team if it would be possible to have some background music, but they explained that many guests had previously requested no music. We completely respect that, but personally we were surprised, as this is the first hotel we've visited where there is no music by the pool during the day. Even some quiet background music would make the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Another small disappointment with the All Inclusive package is the snack selection. During the day, the only complimentary snack available is Pringles. If you would like anything else, you have to pay extra. We expected a slightly wider selection of snacks as part of the package. Despite these small points, we are having a fantastic holiday. Sir Anthony Hotel has the perfect location. It is right by the ocean and just steps away from the center, yet still peaceful, quiet, and very private. We stayed at Mediterranean Palace from June 9th to June 14th with our 9-month-old baby girl. We had breakfast included and also rented a car during our stay. We arrived quite late in the evening and we were not sure how to enter the hotel because there was a barrier at the entrance. We went inside with our baby and the staff reacted very quickly — they immediately came to help my husband enter with the car, took care of our luggage and helped us get to our room. We were given two room keys and three cards for the pool towels. The cards had to be returned, and we were able to exchange the towels every time without any issue. The breakfast was not the biggest we have ever had, but there was still a very good variety of choices: eggs, bacon, fruits, vegetables, different types of coffee, pastries, and even salmon. There was something for everyone. The hotel itself looks beautiful, both inside and outside. The pool area is great, the pool is very large, and the water was really warm — even comfortable for our baby. The location is excellent, very close to the sea and also close to many tourist attractions. Regarding cleanliness, it was not absolutely perfect, but it was good. We had fresh towels every day, clean bedding, and the staff were always kind and helpful. We booked through Loveholidays and the staff mentioned that a baby was not included in the reservation details. However, they were very helpful and offered us a baby cot and everything needed for our daughter without any problem. They did not bring anything without asking first, which we appreciated. We also received a 20% discount for a meal at nearby restaurants and a baby card for the playground at the Mare Nostrum Resort. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no problems, the hotel is beautiful, the staff were wonderful, and we would happily return. The hotel and staff are exemplary and a credit to the hotel. Everyone is very helpful, friendly and polite. Adults only is a big attraction . Lovely living wall of plants around hotel. Received a welcome evening tray of rolls, ham, cheese,salad and fruit, as we arrived late evening. Had a complimentary bottle of cava for my 60th birthday, which was a beautiful surprise,as I kept it low key, not telling anyone. Room 423, had a stunning view of the bay and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of the sea and to watch the beautiful sunset. Only downsides are, the location is a little far for going out as struggled with mobility and the night time  entertainment at the hotel is hit and miss, a bit disappointing, sadly.
